born 25th february 1986, he is charismatic, humorous and incredibly grounded. despite his success, justin berfield has spent the majority of his life performing. born and raised in california, his friend influenced him to try acting. at the young age of five, he auditioned for his first commercial for folgers coffee and got the part. subsequently, he appeared in 15 national commercials and was dubbed "the commercial kid." justin, most well known for his role as "reese", on malcolm in the middle stars in whos your daddy due out next year. most importantly, justin has been named a national youth ambassador for the year 2002 for the ronald mcdonald house charities.
it was only a matter of six months before justin landed and co-starred in the television series "the good life" at the age of six. he also appeared in the nbc series "the mommies" as the son of jere burns and had a recurring role on both the fox network show "hardball" and cbs "the boys are back." justin then went on to costar in the wb television series "unhappily ever after" (from the creators of "married with children) for five seasons. he then segued to g-rated family films appearing in "mom, can i keep her?," "the kid with x-ray eyes," "wanted," and "invisible mom 2."
his most famous role to date is his character reese on the emmy award winning fox television series "malcolm in the middle." a wise-cracking, big-bully, second child, reese will bee dealing with more teenage anguish this season. during the recent production hiatus, justin kept busy and completed back-to-back feature film projects including disneys "max keebles big move" (october 5th release) and the independent film "whos your daddy?" directed by andy fickman. he also recently guest-starred in an episode of the new wb series "nightmare room" from the juvenile-fright author r.l. stine, and appeared on the new animal planet series "unleashed" wher he was featured with his pets.
in his few spare moments, justin enjoys golfing, scuba diving, fishing and spending time with his friends and family. justin has an enormous love for animals and especially for his boxer, diva.
